HEALTHY STRAWBERRY BANANA SMOOTHIE
Committed to Quality
This recipe will be a simple smoothie that you can have for breakfast or as a snack. You only need 4 ingredients and it takes around 15 minutes to make.
Total Time: 15 minutes
Quantity: 2 servings or 2 mugs

Ingredients:
1 cup frozen strawberries
1 banana sliced
â…” cup milk, any kind (more for a more juicy smoothie, less for a chunkier smoothie)
¾ cup ice, (less for a more juicy smoothie, more for a chunkier smoothie)
Materials:
Blender
Chef’s Knife
Cutting board
liquid measuring cup
Recipe:
Plug in your blender but don’t turn it on, add in your strawberries, milk, and ice into the blender. If you want a thinner more juice like smoothie add more milk, if you want a thicker or chunkier smoothie add more ice.
Peel your banana and chop it into about 1 centimeter slices, this will make it easier to blend.
Add the banana slices into the blender with everything else.
Put the blender cover on and blend until the ingredients have turned into a smoothie.
Open the lid and pour your smoothie into cups or mugs.
Enjoy and share! You’ve done it!
(7.) If you have extra smoothie leftover you can leave it in a cup and place it in the fridge for up to 2 days (it may not taste as fresh though).
How to clean your blender:
Try to scrape out any leftover smoothie with a spoon and put it in a mug for later.
Fill the blender with water until halfway.
Blend just water until most of the leftover smoothie is gone.
Dump the water out in the sink and fill halfway with water again. Add a couple drops of dish soap this time.
Blend again until the blender has no leftover smoothie on it.
Dump the soapy water out of the blender and into a sink and rinse the soap suds out.
Fill the blender with water until halfway one more time
Blend just water until the water comes out clear.
Dump out the water and leave on a dry rack to air dry.
If you don’t want to air dry carefully wipe the blender down on all sides with a paper towel being careful of the blender blades.
